NURL Health
NURL Health is a startup building a wearable for addiction treatment centers. I joined in its very early stages and worked hand in hand with the founder on the technical side. He had a template website, and I turned it into a proper one. Most of the work was positioning. NURL sells to rehab facilities, so instead of speaking to consumers, the site had to make sense to a clinician, who needs to see it and understand what it does before it gets brought into their facility.
Since it was so early, I also wanted to help wherever it was needed. I used SAMHSA's public directory of treatment facilities to build our target list for pilot facilities, going through more than 1,000 rehab facilities and narrowing it down to about 50 that fit best. I sorted those into three tiers. The top tier got outreach from the founder, so it would be more personal, and the rest got mailers and cold email. I made the mailers and one-pagers too. From July, I worked with the founder on ML models for finding anomalies in the wearable's sensor data.
NURL is on pause right now at the founder's request, so its live site is down. You can still see the site I built.
